Colt's First Adult Passenger Using Clicker Training

Born on August 7, 2022, here on the property at Starr Horse Retreats, Solar had his very first adult ride today!  Though he’s had a small child on him before, this was my first time riding him. We kept it very short, as his spine is still growing, but the experience was nothing short of magical.

This moment is a beautiful testament to the power of clicker training and positive reinforcement—where partnership is built on trust, choice, and joy. No fear, no force—just praise, rewards, and pure connection. It felt like dancing on air, and I was in heaven!
