After a week of relentless storms—hurricane-force winds rattling the house each night—the morning hay still calls. The mud, the cold, the dust, the hard work… none of it could ever make me trade this life. After 31 years in San Francisco, I never imagined I’d be here, yet these horses are my everything. Through every storm, we create something beautiful together. This is the rhythm of life at Starr Horse Retreats—honoring the land, the herd, and the sacred bond we share.
