Qigong with the Herd & Wizard of Oz Tarot Hero’s Journey | Beyond the Saddle Week 2

Friday of Week 2 in our Beyond the Saddle: Holistic Clicker Training Program celebrated integration, movement, and mythic storytelling.

The day began with another playful quick-release knot competition, where students demonstrated their growing competence in safe horse handling.

We then flowed into Qigong practice in the pasture, moving breath and energy in harmony with the herd.

Our journey continued with the Wizard of Oz Tarot, exploring the Major Arcana archetypes and the stages of the Hero’s Journey during a serene Free Liberty Meditation.

Students rounded out the day by refining their clicker training skills, deepening trust and communication with their horse partners.
